ACTIVITIES UNDER STRENGTHENING WATERSHED GOVERNANCE IN EL NIDO (OCTOBER 2024 TO DECEMBER 2024)
El Nido Foundation (ENF) successfully conducted the following activities in partnership with LGU-El Nido, PCSD, CENRO-Taytay, BLGU (Pasadeña, Barotuan, Villa Paz & New Ibajay) and PWMC.
1. Wildlife Enforcement Officer Training at PCSD training center.
2. Bantay-gubat deputation training at Taytay, Palawan.
3. Training on leadership and management and organizational development of PWMC.
4. Workshop on Formulation of Forest Protection and Enforcement Plan for Nagkalitkalit and Bulalacao watershed.
5. Community Consultation Workshop on water resource utilization for households, commercial, agricultural and tourism purposes.
6. Workshop/community consultation towards formulation of Bgy. Ordinance on Forest Protection and Law Enforcement
7. Nagkalitkalit and Bulalacao Water 3R assessment and community validation
8. Installation of water 3R technologies in Nagkalitkalit watershed (gully traps, terracing and infiltration pits).
