The Nagkalit-KalitโBulalacao Watershed Management Board and Technical Working Group (TWG) participated in a training on forest and wildlife protection, biodiversity conservation, and the policies governing the El Nido Protected Area.
Serving as resource persons were Ms. Ana Liza D. Marasigan, Senior Environmental Management Specialist and Chief of the Conservation and Development Section, and Forester Richard Pareรฑas, Forest Technician I of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR).
This initiative is a joint project of the LGUโEl Nido and El Nido Foundation, funded by the Forest Foundation Philippines. It aims to strengthen local capacities in enforcing environmental policies, managing natural resources, and safeguarding the rich biodiversity within the watershed areas.
